THERAPY FOR WOMEN, PARENTS & FAMILIES

You Take Care of Everyone Else.

What Would It Feel Like to Take Care of You?

You are capable. You are responsible. You show up for the people you love.

And yet, somewhere along the way, you may have started feeling exhausted, overwhelmed, anxious, disconnected, or simply unlike yourself.

Maybe you're successful in so many areas of your life, but inside you're struggling more than anyone realizes.

You may be...

  • Constantly overthinking, worrying, or anticipating what could go wrong.

  • Saying yes when you really want to say no.

  • Putting everyone else's needs ahead of your own.

  • Holding yourself to impossible standards and feeling like you're never doing enough.

  • Carrying experiences from your past that still affect how you feel, think, or connect with others.

  • Struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, or a major life transition.

  • Feeling disconnected from yourself, your partner, your children, or the people you love.

  • Wondering why you understand what you should do but still can't seem to change how you feel.

  • Tired of being the strong one.

  • Ready to stop simply getting through the day and start feeling more like yourself again.

You don't have to wait until you're falling apart to ask for support.

Therapy can be a place to slow down, make sense of what you're experiencing, and begin creating a life that feels more intentional, connected, and authentically yours.

FOR WOMEN WHO ARE READY FOR SOMETHING DIFFERENT

You don't need to become a different person.

You may simply need space to reconnect with yourself.

My work with women often centers around anxiety, trauma, depression, relationships, self-worth, boundaries, life transitions, and the expectations we place on ourselves.

Perhaps you've spent years being the dependable one.

The caretaker.

The high achiever.

The one everyone calls when they need something.

And maybe you're beginning to realize that being everything to everyone has come at a cost.

Together, we can explore where those patterns came from, how they're affecting your relationships and your sense of self, and what it might look like to make different choices.

Therapy isn't about judging the choices you've made or telling you how you should live your life.

It's about understanding why you do what you do, developing greater self-awareness, and creating the freedom to respond to life differently.

WHEN THE PAST IS STILL SHOWING UP IN THE PRESENT

Sometimes you know exactly what happened.

Sometimes you simply know that something doesn't feel right.

Trauma doesn't always look the way we expect it to. It can show up as anxiety, perfectionism, difficulty trusting, people-pleasing, relationship struggles, emotional overwhelm, numbness, or feeling constantly on guard.

You may find yourself thinking:

"Why am I still affected by this?"

"I know I'm safe now, so why don't I feel safe?"

"Why is this relationship bringing up so much for me?"

"I thought I had dealt with this already."

You don't have to minimize your experiences or convince yourself that they weren't "bad enough" to deserve support.

My trauma-informed approach provides a safe, compassionate space to understand what you've experienced and how it continues to influence your life. When appropriate, we may incorporate approaches such as EMDR, somatic therapies, mindfulness, and attachment-based work.

Healing doesn't mean forgetting what happened. It means having more freedom in how you live with what happened.

PARENTING WITHOUT LOSING YOURSELF

You love your child deeply.

That doesn't mean parenting always feels easy.

Maybe you're exhausted from repeating yourself.

Maybe every conversation turns into an argument.

Maybe your child seems anxious, angry, withdrawn, or overwhelmed, and you don't know what they need from you.

Maybe you're questioning yourself:

"Am I doing this right?"

"Why doesn't anything seem to work?"

"Why does my child listen to everyone except me?"

"How do I set boundaries without damaging our relationship?"

"How do I stay calm when my child is completely dysregulated?"

Parenting can bring up some of our deepest fears, hopes, and insecurities.

My work with parents focuses on moving beyond simply managing behavior and toward understanding the relationship underneath the behavior. Children don't always have the words to tell us what they're experiencing. Sometimes their behavior is their communication.

Together, we'll work to understand what your child may be communicating, strengthen your connection, develop practical strategies, and help you feel more confident in your role as a parent. And just as importantly, we'll make space for you. Because parenting is hard work—and you deserve support, too.

WHEN YOUR FAMILY LOVES EACH OTHER BUT CAN'T SEEM TO UNDERSTAND EACH OTHER

Sometimes the problem isn't a lack of love.

It's a lack of understanding.

Families can become caught in patterns that seem impossible to break.

One person feels unheard.

Another feels criticized.

Someone shuts down.

Someone gets louder.

Everyone walks away frustrated—and the same thing happens again tomorrow.

Perhaps you're tired of arguing.

Perhaps you feel like your teenager won't talk to you.

Perhaps your partner or family member seems to hear something completely different from what you intended to say.

Perhaps everyone is trying their best, but somehow you're still missing each other.

Family therapy can create space to slow those patterns down and understand what is happening beneath them.

My goal isn't to decide who is right.

It's to help everyone feel heard.

We'll work toward better communication, greater understanding, healthier boundaries, and relationships that feel safer and more connected.

A THERAPEUTIC RELATIONSHIP BUILT AROUND YOU

I believe therapy works best when you feel both comfortable and challenged.

You don't need another person telling you what you're doing wrong.

You need someone who can sit with you in the difficult moments, help you see things from a different perspective, and gently challenge you when old patterns are keeping you stuck.

My style is warm, genuine, conversational, and collaborative. I bring expertise to the room, but you remain the expert on your own life.

Together, we'll figure out what you need and what approach makes the most sense for you.

Some sessions may involve deep exploration and processing. Others may be more practical and focused on what you're facing right now.

There is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy.

Your therapy should be as individual as you are.

YOU'VE SPENT ENOUGH TIME HOLDING EVERYTHING TOGETHER.

Maybe it's time to have somewhere you don't have to.

You don't have to know exactly what you need before reaching out.

You don't need to have the right words.

And you don't need to wait until things become unbearable.

Whether you're struggling with anxiety, healing from trauma, navigating depression, questioning yourself as a parent, or simply longing for deeper connection in your relationships, therapy can give you a place to pause, understand, and begin moving forward.

You don't have to do it perfectly.
You don't have to do it alone.

Let's start where you are.
